Belly Dance Basics: Class provides an excellent introduction to dance concepts: types of space/use of space, tempo/time, rhythm, movement/stillness, shape/form, and more. Also Dance Games, Fun Drills & Exercises...

Opportunity to be a leader, to follow someone else's lead, to create freely and within guidelines. The girls become friends, make up their own dance names, and get to wear pretty sparkly costumes. They also learn cultural context, Oriental dance styles, rhythms, props, and more. Jillanna's teaching style is supportive, fun, and creative.

 Jillanna also offers Private & Semi-private lessons, Parties, and Camps. As mother of two girls and an impassioned, experienced teacher, she especially enjoys teaching children to belly dance. Her fun teaching style is tailored to the ages of the girls in her classes, which are limited to eight students at a time to facilitate learning. The games, toys, and coloring pictures included in the classes add to the joy and excitement of each meeting.
