We like to get together on occasion for a hafla. What is a hafla?
A hafla is a belly dance party!
Everyone brings food and drinks to share, and we dance, play with henna, and enjoy each other's company.
Its a great performance opportunity for new dancers to break in their shimmies!
We also celebrate yearly with our Annual Gems of the Oasis Student Shows. Formerly held in November each year, we have moved the date to January for the past couple of years. In 2012 we offer our SEVENTH ANNUAL Gems of the Oasis Show!
